NeuroBloom is a proudly black and female owned psychology practice. We aim to provide effective and result-oriented treatment to our clients. In the same vein raise awareness on the importance of mental wellbeing. The founder, Diemut has over 13 years of experience in the mental health industry, working in both private and public sectors. Her therapeutic experience includes counseling with children, adults, elderly and war veterans suffering from post-war effects. She is also knowledgeable and skillful in doing psychological assessments and palliative care counselling for patients and their caregivers. Given her Namibian native heritage NeuroBloom will also be able to provide those services in indigenous languages for increased understanding and awareness of self, using evidence-based and individualized treatment approaches. At NeuroBloom we believe that everyone deserves a good quality of life thus, our services are tailored to provide exactly that.

Founder NeuroBloom Psychology and a Registered Psychological Counsellor
Diemut is a warm, insightful, and compassionate therapist with genuine interest in people and their life stories. She will listen, help teach new skills and challenge clients to see new ways to live and most importantly believe in themselves. She believes that knowing yourself is your true superpower. Apart from her interest in Psychology & Neuroscience, she enjoys an active lifestyle such working out in the gym, travelling, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Selma Elifas
Selma Elifas
Selma is NeuroBloom Psychology Practice Office Administrator and is responsible for the administration and day to day functioning of the Practice. She will answer all initial phone calls and queries regarding the range of services offered at NeuroBloom Psychology Practice. With her educational background in finance and administration management, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge in running the administrative and financial aspect of the Practice.
Chelsey Pickering
Chelsey Pickering
Chelsey is looking forward to gaining more experience and knowledge in the field of psychology, and being a volunteer is a great starting point. Her hobbies include doing ballet, reading, video editing and eating good food.
Qualifications
- BA Humanities in Psychology and Philosophy from Stellenbosch University
- Currently undertaking an honours degree in Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP)
